Madras Electroplaters was started in the year 2003, in a small way by Mrs. Savithri Ganesh, a graduate in Physics, assisted by Mr. S.V. Ganash, a graduate and a metal finishing consultant experience over 20 years.
- Location: Shed no: 112 Sidco Industrial estate Thirumudivakkam Chennai: 600044 and started functioning at its 6 ground plot with sheded and with all facilities needed for an Electroplating Industry.
- As a progressive women entrepreneur, Mrs. Savitri Ganesh had the vision to build the company as a sound technology based industry acquiring the latest electro plating techniques in the new Trivalent systems of Zinc Plating to try serve the world class manufacturing Auto giants like Ford, Hyundai and Maruthi, as a second tier Vendor for all components that needed Zinc plating with different End- Finish.
- MEP ventured in to a fully automated Plant with robotic transporters through the series of process tanks in 2008-2009 and commenced its production in September 2009 in order to cater to the ever growing demand for plated components for automobile industry, meeting the stringent Quality standards set by the International industries.
MEP focuses on Quality, Cost and on time delivery of plated components besides responding to newer requirements emerging from time to time by the end user MNCs.
